Another happy customer, a before and after porcelain patio installation for a customer in Wokingham. Timber sleeper retaining wall onto lawn was preferred over brick wall & a recessed manhole cover was fitted to hide the drain with a porcelain tile inside. Client had requested a concrete screed bed for the porcelain however it is not required, we also lay on no less than 75mm MOT type1 sub-base aggregate, using primers and mortar mix for maximum bond.
Why choose porcelain?
One reason why people may want their garden redone is to reduce the amount of maintenance and cleaning required on more traditional patios. Porcelain really is hassle-free, when installed correctly there really is very little maintenance, once a year jet-wash to keep it looking pristine. Unlike natural stone and concrete patios, porcelain is non porous, therefore nothing will grow or stain the tile and is extremely hard-wearing.
